Email is the way to reach us: hello@languagekeyboards.com. We read everything and usually reply within two business days. Putting the keyboard's name in the subject line, such as "Korean keyboard", helps us find the right layout quickly.

Reporting a wrong key

The most useful report names the keyboard, the key you pressed or tapped, what it typed, and what you expected. For the keyboards that assemble text as you type (Korean, Japanese, pinyin and phonetic Russian), paste the exact sequence you typed: for example kyou or ㄷ ㅏ ㄹ ㄱ. Please also say whether you used the on-screen keys or your own keyboard, and which browser and device you were on.

Before you write, two things are worth checking. The script keyboards follow each country's standard layout, which is not phonetic, so a key that types an unexpected letter may be correct; the chart on each language page shows every key. And if a letter shows as an empty box, your device is missing a font for that script, which the keyboard cannot fix.

Asking for a language

Tell us which language or symbol set you need and what you use it for. We add keyboards where we can check the layout and spelling rules properly, so it helps to know which layout native speakers use.

Privacy when you write

Please do not paste private text you typed with the keyboard into your email unless it is needed to show the problem. We never see what you type on the site, and a short example word is almost always enough for us to reproduce a fault.

Embedding a keyboard

You are welcome to put the keyboard on your own site with the code on the embed page, with no need to ask. If the keyboard does not fit your page or looks wrong, email us the page address and we will take a look.
